Dormway has secured a major $150 million contract with Unitywater, delivering critical water and sewer infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast as part of the "Build Better Together" program. With a strong pipeline of work locked in for at least the next 5 years (with a 5-year extension option), we're growing our local team—and now's your chance to join us.

We're currently looking for a reliable and safety-focused Labourer / Truck Driver to support our operations based in Caloundra.

About The Role

This hands-on and varied position involves:

  • Operating a crane truck for safe and timely delivery of equipment and materials to our infrastructure project sites
  • Supporting the Caloundra Yard Coordinator with day-to-day yard activities, the movement of goods and equipment in and out of the depot
  • Performing labouring duties as part of field crews on active projects, as needed
  • Occasional support to our Wacol Yard operations
  • Conducting plant inspections, operating forklifts, and assisting with general yard duties

This role offers the best of both worlds— consistent work, depot-based tasks and practical field duties that keep our projects running smoothly.

About You

You're a motivated, mechanically minded all-rounder who takes pride in working safely and efficiently. You value teamwork but can also work independently, and you're eager to be part of a long-term, impactful project in your own backyard.

Required
  • MR License (HR License preferred)
  • Forklift License
  • White Card
  • Experience in civil construction
  • Clean safety record
  • Dogging and Rigging License

Preferred But Not Essential
  • (C2) Slewing Mobile Crane
  • Confined Space & Working at Heights
