About the team

As the way we shop continues to evolve, our Digital team keeps us at the cutting edge. Driven by our innovative, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture, we're constantly looking at ways to create differentiated, omni-channel experiences for our customers and build the next generation of digital retailing.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Product Manager to join the Last Mile Transformation squad, who will help us to deliver the Unified Last Mile program of work. This program involves transforming our home delivery techstack to enable complex ecommerce fulfillment whilst improving the last mile customer experience.

As the Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible to identify opportunities to improve the last mile experience for team members and for customers through driving discovery, design, delivery and testing activities. You will also own and deliver workstreams within the broader program through both AGILE and traditional waterfall delivery.

The successful candidate must have experience in either Digital, Supply Chain, Technology or Last Mile functions. Their skillset must include data collation and analysis, stakeholder management and strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of key workstreams within the Unified Last Mile Transformation Program, a critical FY26 strategic business priority.

• Shape and define requirements for future Last Mile system functionalities with a strong focus on enabling cost efficiencies and scalability.

• Own and drive product components end-to-end — from identifying problems to delivering solutions across the full product lifecycle.

• Deliver against strategic roadmap milestones, ensuring alignment with business OKRs and broader program goals.

• Take analytical ownership to uncover insights, guide decision-making, and inform continuous improvement.

• Champion best-in-class product practices including visioning, design thinking, journey mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

• Partner with technical teams to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications.

• Communicate initiative progress and updates clearly and consistently to stakeholders across the business.

This is an exciting new role within our team at Coles, focused on innovating last mile delivery. This is a high profile position, which offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of our operations, driving strategic initiatives and enhancing customer experience. The role will allow you to collaborate with cross functional teams, leveraging cutting edge technology and influence key business decisions. As part of a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence, this is a fantastic chance to develop your skills and expand your professional network here at Coles.
