Join Eldercare as a Hospitality Assistant – Cleaning & Catering at Evanston Park. This is a permanent part-time opportunity supporting cleaning, laundry and catering services in our aged care facility.

About The Role
  • Assist with laundry services, ensuring infection control and laundry practice standards
  • Maintain hygiene and tidiness when cleaning residents' rooms, community and public areas, kitchen and laundry
  • Assist with catering tasks such as preparing food and beverages and maintaining supplies
Shifts
  • Catering Shifts: Monday and Wednesday, 07:00 – 15:00
  • Cleaning Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 08:30 – 14:30
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
  • Aged care experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Professional presentation
  • Flexibility with shifts to cover team members when sick or on leave
  • A current Food Handling Certificate is required
  • Previous work in aged care or healthcare is essential

Eldercare requires police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) less than 12 months old. All employees must comply with Eldercare's Immunisation Policy, including influenza vaccination by 1 June each year and COVID-19 vaccination as per ATAGI guidelines. Exemptions may be approved by Eldercare's Chief Executive. Eldercare is Rainbow Tick accredited and White Ribbon accredited, promoting an inclusive and safe workplace.
