Position Classification: Hospital Assistant Grade 2

Remuneration: $57,614.53 per annum ($29.06 per hour) plus allowances and shift penalties and 12% superannuation

Hours Per Week: Full Time 38 hours, Part Time 30 hours per week (multiple roles available)

Location: Randwick Campus

The Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • order taking
  • meal assembly
  • meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
  • recording intake
  • dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
  • waste management

In this role, you need to be available every day for shifts on a 7-day rotating roster, shift times vary and start from 6am. There are multiple shifts, you will need to be available from 6am to 8:30pm

Eligibility Requirements
  • Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
  • This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and TB screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy for vaccines. During application, please upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have
  • If you are identified as a preferred candidate and are external to HealthShare NSW, you will be required to complete a physical pre-employment health assessment (at no cost to you) to confirm your ability to safely perform the duties of the role.
