The Senior Manager - MP & Investment is pivotal in leading the drafting, negotiation, and execution of platform agreements, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities. This role is essential in collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive strategic improvements and secure timely execution of agreements that support growth objectives.

About the role:

• Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of platform agreements, ensuring legal and commercial alignment with business objectives.
• Drive the successful implementation of contractual agreements, overseeing rollout strategies and operational coordination.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory changes and support implementation initiatives, collaborating with legal and compliance teams to maintain industry standards.
• Oversee rebate structures, relevant contracts, and operational execution, ensuring effective implementation and compliance.
• Review current Fee structures and support commercial uplifts
• Implement cost recovery enhancements & processes with a focus on improving long term processes
• Support the development and maintenance of product disclosure documents, working alongside the Disclosure Team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist the Senior Manager and Head of Managed Portfolios & Investments in executing product strategy, ensuring alignment with market needs and business priorities.
• Develop support materials, standard operating procedures, and lifecycle documentation to enhance product transparency and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to fostering a strong, knowledge-driven team culture, promoting collaboration, professional growth, and operational excellence.

Job specific capabilities required:

• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and execution within financial platform
• In-depth understanding of investment product structures and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex agreements.
• Experience in operational execution and strategic oversight of investment-related projects.
• Ability to drive process improvements and maintain compliance with evolving industry standards.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in the Australian wealth management market (5+ years) focusing on platform contracts and product management delivery
• Strong knowledge of investment products, cost recovery frameworks, and external relationships management
• Demonstrated experience in legal contract drafting and execution within financial platforms
• Demonstrated capability in process improvement and operational efficiency
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements, relevant legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Business related tertiary qualifications and/or relevant post graduate qualifications e.g., finance/commerce degree, CFA, RG146, CFP
