About The Role

Are you ready to make a real impact in your community while advancing your career in business systems and data analytics? The City of Sydney is seeking a passionate and skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our City Infrastructure and Traffic Operations (CITO) team.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and supporting systems that drive the delivery and maintenance of civil asset infrastructure. You'll help shape the future of Sydney by enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across our operations.

What You'll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in IT or significant experience in a related field.Expertise in Microsoft SQL, GIS, and asset management systems.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for simplifying complex processes.Experience with data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and improve business processes and systems.Lead user acceptance testing and support digital transformation projects.Manage and validate asset data across corporate systems.Provide technical support and training for system users.Design and implement data strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.

You will collaborate with internal teams, project groups, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals. Your work will influence decisions at all levels and contribute to the success of Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
