On behalf of my clients a global professional service's who are heavily involved in providing services to multiple Australian Federal Government entities, I am currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has gained several years of experience in a clinical or health environment. Due to the nature of the work only candidates that hold a current Australian security, ideally of NV1 or above can be considered, however baseline clearance may suffice and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The role will be based on client's site in Canberra (with flexible hybrid work from home options available) and is being offered as long-term day rate contract position with multiple extension options.

My clients are ideally looking for someone with healthcare or clinical experience who has also worked on ICT projects to deliver a healthcare solution.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Using your clinical / healthcare and business expertise to integrate new solutions into effective and efficient clinical and business practices.
  • Ensure that any change activities support the delivery of a safe, sustainable solution and maintains patient safety and quality.
  • Lead the identification and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
  • Resolve issues and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
  • Facilitating workshops.
  • Process reviews.
  • Benefits analysis and lifecycle management.
  • Options analysis and reporting

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven ability as a Business Analyst where you have played an integral part in bridging the gap between clinical stakeholders and IT professionals is a key strength. (essential)
  • Thorough understanding of clinical / healthcare workflows and the ability to effectively communicate with clinicians to gather and document requirements (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience with managing the review and analysis of ICT business and clinical processes in services within a large health or hospital organisation.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and to confidently achieve high quality outcomes while adhering to government policies and organisational practices within a structured delivery framework.
  • NV1 or Baseline Security Clearance (essential)

Any experience gained working with Digital Health Records would be advantageous.
