Short Description: Looking for Site Reliability Lead Engineer minimum 8 years of relevant Experience.

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Salary

Salary range: AUD 96,836 - 105,068 (Annual Gross). Please note: The above salary range is indicative and may be subject to suitable enhancements based on internal company processes.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Primary Focus - Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Defining SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for reliability.
    • Monitoring system performance and reducing toil.
    • Capacity planning and scaling.
    • Automating reliability improvements.
  • Main Goal - Ensure production systems are reliable, performant, and scalable.
  • Approach - Focus on reducing downtime, preventing failures, and maintaining system stability.
  • Common Backgrounds - Software Engineering, DevOps, Operations, Cloud Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of technology landscape to guide the team.
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
  • Preferred:
  • Strong Azure cloud background with IAC skill
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.
