Based in Armadale 9-day fortnight + Hybrid Work

We know great talent brings value. For the right mix of skills and experience, we're open to negotiating within the top end of the band with total packages reaching $122K.

Turn business problems into digital solutions that matter.

You know how to make systems work harder, smarter, and faster. You've seen how great solutions don't just improve data entry or reporting—they transform service delivery. If you're a Business Analyst who thrives where systems, people, and process meet, this role will feel like home.

We're growing fast, and so is the complexity of what we do. At the City of Armadale, we're investing in smarter digital platforms and rethinking how our business systems support frontline teams and our 100,000+ residents. We need someone like you to help us deliver that change.

Why this role?

You'll be our go-to expert for business systems across the City, ensuring they're functioning today and evolving for tomorrow. Whether configuring workflows, managing system upgrades, or translating business requirements into technical solutions, you'll help create a digital environment that works for everyone.

You'll collaborate closely with our ERP Lead and teams across finance, planning, engineering, customer service, and community, making a real impact with every project.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting daily system operations and troubleshooting issues
  • Using SQL and scripting tools to extract data, generate reports, and support workflows
  • Managing system updates, refreshes, and new functionalities
  • Engaging with users to understand pain points and develop solutions
  • Training teams and reducing support volume through self-service tools
  • Contributing to city-wide digital transformation initiatives, including ERP systems like TechOne

About you:

You love bridging the gap between people and systems. You bring:

  • A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience supporting and improving enterprise systems (local government, health, or commercial sectors welcome)
  • Technical skills in SQL, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or HTML (hands-on experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of business process optimization
  • Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

Why join us?

We're a workplace that actually walks the talk on flexibility, learning, and wellbeing. You'll be supported by a caring leadership team, equipped with the tools you need, and encouraged to innovate—all while working on projects that make a real difference in our city.

What's on offer:

  • 9-day fortnight or 19-day month options
  • Hybrid work arrangements + WFH support

  • Up to 15% super (with matching)
