Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Software Delivery

Our client is implementing an off-the-shelf software platform for emergency services across Australia. This significant, multi-year project spans multiple jurisdictions and requires a hands-on Project Manager with strong delivery discipline and stakeholder management skills.

You will lead the end-to-end delivery of this critical project, ensuring milestones are achieved, stakeholders remain aligned, and risks are effectively managed. The project is complex, high-visibility, and impactful, supported by an experienced internal team and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of a 34-month Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) implementation
  • Manage the full project lifecycle: scope, timelines, budget, and reporting
  • Coordinate with senior stakeholders across emergency services and roadside assistance
  • Attend monthly steering committee meetings in Brisbane (travel required)
  • Track deliverables, manage contract variations, and meet customer expectations
Ideal Background
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience, preferably from the vendor side
  • Proven experience with COTS implementations and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC processes (build, test, deploy)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive risk identification
  • Experience with emergency services, public sector, or transport industries is a plus
