We have multiple opportunities for highly skilled Diesel Fitters to join our Cairns Field Service Team to support the Marine, Power Generation, Transport and Civil Industries. These are Permanent, Full-Time opportunities working a 9-day fortnight.

As a Field Service Fitter , you will :

  • Travel to specific customer site projects
  • Provide breakdown, diagnostic and warranty support for the CAT product
  • Complete scheduled engine rebuilds, repairs and general servicing
  • Minimise production downtime by prioritising work to the required timeframes
  • Ensure customer receives the highest quality of service and focus on increasing equipment performance

About You

A successful teammate will have :

Relevant Trade qualificationDemonstrated experience on industrial engines and experience in the marine sector is also highly favourableStrong fault finding and diagnostic abilityDedicated commitment to health and safetyHigh level of initiative, reliability and ability to work independentlyA customer driven focus and commitment to continuous improvementExcellent communication, documentation and time management skillsA strong adherence to safety and quality controlAustralian / NZ Citizen or AUS Permanent Resident applicants only (we are unable to accept applications from candidates who are temporary residents)
