**Salary**: $42 per hour **plus**superannuation

**The Family**:
This wonderful family is looking for an experienced and efficient nanny to support their children's daily routines and activities. The family consists of a dedicated mother, who is a teacher (WFH sometimes), and a father who is an executive.

They have two lively children: a 6-year-old boy who will be starting Year 1 in 2025 and a 3-year-old girl who attends daycare 3 days/week and preschool 2 days/week (she has asthma). Boy participates in various after-school activities, including occupational therapy, speech pathology, soccer, and gymnastics. His sister enjoys dance classes.

The family values a proactive nanny who not only ensures the children are well cared for but also takes initiative around the home. Light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up and doing laundry are important, and they appreciate a nanny who promotes healthy eating habits when preparing snacks and meals for the children. With a busy schedule filled with different activities each term, the family is eager to find someone who can provide structure and support in their lively household.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Childcare:

- Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
- Read and facilitate learning activities
- Ensure the children are bathed or showered
- Housekeeping: (where time permits)
- Carry out light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying toys and vacuuming
- Assist with parent's laundry
- Meal Preparation:

- Prepare snacks and meals for the children
- Driving:

- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and after-school activities
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle (car seats will be provided - reimbursement for mileage and parking fees)
- Minimum commitment of 12 months
- Fluent in English
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 doses)
- Flexibility for occasional babysitting is preferred but not essential
- WWCC
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR
- Recent Police Check
- Minimum of 2-3 Glowing References

**Working Hours**:

- Monday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Friday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Ideally, both family and nanny should plan leaves during school holidays rather than term time. There is flexibility during school holidays, accommodating either work or time off.
