Private Tax & Advisory - Manager and Analyst Roles

As part of a Big 4 firm, you'll join a team known for excellence, innovation, and commitment to client success. Our Private Tax & Advisory division partners with Australia's largest private entities, offering bespoke solutions in tax compliance, strategic advisory, and commercial insights.

Your new role

1. Manager - Lead a high-performing team managing a diverse portfolio of private clients. Collaborate with Directors and Partners to shape and grow the business, while mentoring team members. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading client engagements and delivering high-quality advisory services
  • Managing staff performance, careers, and development
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
  • Driving service excellence and continuous improvement

2. Analyst - Support Managers, Directors, and Partners in delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base, from start-ups to large family groups. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
  • Assisting with ATO and state tax compliance reporting
  • Supporting advisory engagements and client communications
  • Building direct client relationships and providing outstanding service
  • Supervising and training junior staff

What you'll need to succeed

Manager

  • 4+ years advising private clients in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships

Analyst

  • A strong interest in private tax and advisory services
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Progress toward CA or similar qualification is highly regarded
