About The RoleCSR is looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Manager to join our team based in Launceston. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering innovative building solutions across the Northern Tasmania region. This is more than just a sales role — it is an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of construction with confidence and clarity.
In this role, you will work closely with builders, contractors, and internal teams to uncover opportunities, deliver value, and exceed performance targets. If you thrive on building meaningful relationships, enjoy the technical side of construction, and have a knack for turning insights into action — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Sales Growth: Deliver on sales targets and expand the Interior Systems portfolio.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with builders and contractors to drive repeat business.
- Pricing & Contracts: Manage pricing approvals, credit terms, and customer contracts including renewals and rebates.
- Market Insight: Track competitor activity and develop growth strategies with key customers.
- CRM & Reporting: Use Dynamics 365 CRM to manage pipelines and customer data effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on goals and share market insights.
- Proven experience in business development or account management.
- Background in the building industry or technical sales is highly desirable.
- Comfortable engaging with the technical aspects of construction.
- Strong understanding of market segments, channels, and competitive landscapes.
- Experience working with installation sub-contractors and related services.
- Ability to generate market insights and present compelling cases for change.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
