About the role

We are looking for an experienced 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our team at Opposite Lock in Epping, Victoria. This full-time role involves installing and servicing a range of 4WD accessories to various makes and model of vehicles, both new and used.

What you'll be doing

Professionally install a variety of 4WD accessories including bull bars, snorkels, roof racks, winches, canopies, fuel and water tanks and racking systems

Suspension upgrades 4WD and Light Commercial vehicles

Fitting and wiring of communications equipment, lighting, battery systems, mirrors and towing accessories

Fitting of storage and drawer systems, consoles, camping equipment and seat covers

Manufacturing, modifying wiring, welding and fabrication on occasion

General mechanical repairs

Assist with general workshop duties and maintain a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for

Preferably have experience as a 4WD accessory fitter or in a similar automotive trade role

Strong technical knowledge of 4WD systems and accessories

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Ability to work efficiently and safely in a workshop environment

Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Hold a current Australian Driver's License
