Wood is recruiting for Condition Monitoring Professionals to join our Rotating Equipment and Reliability team based in Perth, servicing our Mining and Oil & Gas clients. You will typically have one of the following rosters:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
- 8 days on / 6 days off

The Role
Our ideal candidate will have strong capabilities in a customer-facing role and enthusiasm for contributing to team experience and growth.
You will demonstrate technical excellence in resolving the causes and effects of vibration in rotating equipment and machinery, providing engineering solutions and services to improve the integrity and performance.

Responsibilities
- Manage, implement and improve vibration, lubrication, and thermography-based predictive maintenance programs, including on-site data collection, analysis, and recommendations for rotating equipment
- Assist with RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis)
- Identify opportunities to improve client plant reliability, availability, and performance
- Provide support, mentoring, and technical reviews for team members in predictive and preventive maintenance practices
- Execute maintenance strategies and programs, using the latest data analytics techniques
- Assist with investigations and troubleshooting projects
- Work with industry experts to push technological boundaries
Qualifications
- Minimum VCAT1 certification, with VCAT2 highly regarded
- Engineering degree or trade certificate preferred
- Hands-on experience in managing predictive maintenance strategies, including vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, alignment, and balancing
- Recent resource industry experience in Oil & Gas or Mining
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and equipment such as SAP, Maximo, JDE
