About the role:

As a Personal Carer, you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

You will spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.

Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans, supporting community-based recreational and social activities, and assisting with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification – Essential
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
