The Senior Field Marketing Specialist (DACH) will help inform and execute on event strategy, drive design efforts and deliver high quality Diligent branded events, webinars, sponsorships and support demand gen activations in the DACH region.

This strategic field role would support the collaboration, design and implementation of DACH regional campaigns including working closely with internal cross-functional teams, 3rd party sponsors, media partners to drive brand awareness in market and amplify the Diligent brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase Brand awareness: tailored localised campaigns supporting customer and prospect awareness in marketing.
  • Align Marketing & Sales for Growth: building seamless relationships with Sales to ensure the leads generated convert into opportunities.
  • Localised Marketing Content & Campaigns: ensuring all marketing materials are localised to the region, personas across email, web, event materials etc.
  • Customer Retention Program: supporting creating always on customer experiences in person and online. i.e. Peer Events and Webinars.
  • Understand the market and competitive landscape: providing market trends, competitor activity etc.
  • Community engagement: via events and online activations that position Diligent as a thought leader in market.
  • Compliance with regional regulations: ensuring marketing campaigns comply with the data protection laws in the DACH region.
  • Measuring ROI and Reporting: on marketing targets and KPI's. Track and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights.
Required Experience/Skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German required with in-depth knowledge and understanding on the regional landscape.
  • Motivated self-starter, with the ability to effectively set priorities, handle multiple projects and follow-through on deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience and comfort in interactions with Executive Leaders.
  • Ability to partner and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Along with being confident in their ability to present and address all level of the organization.
  • Willingness to lean in where needed on shifting priorities, not being afraid to think on their feet by finding solutions to problems and being confident in their ability to take action where/when needed.
  • Data driven mindset, having the ability to develop a plan aligning to the short and long term success of the region utilising data to drive decisions for the best outcome.
  • Experience working with a SaaS solution, and within the GRC space in the past would be advantageous.
  • Experience working directly with peers and senior leadership.
  • Experience with Wrike, Salesforce, Coupa, Marketo etc. Along with AI tools such as Anyword would be advantageous.
  • 3+ years of experience required.
