Overview

Seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our Federal Government Client.

Initial 8-Months Contract with possible extension

Location: Sydney, NSW

Hybrid work flexibility 2-3 days on-site / 2 days WFH

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scheduling & Planning - Develop and maintain detailed project implementation schedules with linked dependencies, including environment readiness and technical task breakdowns.
  • Release & Implementation Management and Coordination – Manage and Coordinate complex release and implementation activities across multiple delivery streams, ensuring alignment to an integrated program schedule.
  • Program Reporting & Schedule Health - Produce high-quality program-level status reports, highlighting schedule health, risks, and variances from baseline to support informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Management - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, communicate, and mitigate delivery risks and issues with minimal supervision.
  • Data Platform Delivery Support - Extract and track technical implementation details from SMEs, particularly within Data Lake or Data Warehouse environments, using tools like Clarizen or similar.
Required Skills
  • Proven Experience as a Release Manager
  • Has Data Warehouse or Data Lake Implementation Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise creating and maintaining a detailed project implementation schedule with linked dependencies, including environment management
  • Experience using Clarizen project management tool, or similar
  • Experience working within large-scale delivery programs is ideal
  • Government or Federal Government experience is a plus
