About this role :

The Sr. Facilities Engineer supports our Coventry, RI facility, overseeing plant and facilities equipment operations. The role involves engineering support for renovations, upgrades, retrofits, modernizations, and repairs. Collaboration with the site quality team is essential to align initiatives with quality goals and standards. The engineer will develop and maintain engineering systems and practices to meet regulatory and organizational requirements.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Managing construction projects, including programming, commissioning, validation, and equipment installation; conducting design reviews and life cycle analysis.
  • Supporting sterilization equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Overseeing operations of sterilization, building automation, and HVAC systems.
  • Managing facility maintenance contracts.
  • Collaborating with the Global Energy Team on energy needs and sustainability goals.
  • Participating in global initiatives on renewable energy.
  • Cross-training staff and providing technical guidance on facilities operations.
  • Implementing commissioning and validation procedures.
  • Working with EH&S teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Required qualifications :

BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.Knowledge of EPA and DEM regulations.Experience with preventative maintenance.Knowledge of building management controls.Ability to respond to operational issues outside regular hours.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Preferred qualifications :

Project Management (PMP) or Facilities Management (FMP or CFM) certification.Experience with air pollution control and sterilization equipment.Background in medical device, pharmaceutical, or GMP environments.AutoCAD skills.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
