The opportunity

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you won't be thrown in at the deep end. You'll be supported by a team of experienced recruiters and wider HR, Rem, L&D, and talent development professionals who'll make your work easier.

You'll be based in the CBD, a 5-minute walk from the station, working in a modern office with up-to-date technology and views of the Swan River.

The job

You'll collaborate with hiring managers to grow teams across two gold mines – Tropicana and Sunrise Dam. No mining background? No problem.

You'll learn to write and post job ads, conduct pre-screen calls, schedule interviews, negotiate offers, and arrange start dates. It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never dull.

Your work helps a global gold company operate at its best by hiring the right people.

About you

Ideally, you have a background in recruitment—trades, engineering, mining, or related fields. Your problem-solving skills and ability to communicate well are essential. Experience with SuccessFactors is a bonus, but training will be provided.

You should be comfortable speaking with many people daily.
