We are hiring Domestic Assistants to provide essential cleaning services to our aged clients living in the community, maintaining and enhancing their homes and standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks. This is an opportunity to kick start your career in community care with a local provider that holds strong ties to the Coffs Harbour community. We are a local family business supporting residents of Coffs Harbour and the surrounding area for the past 30 years.
About Harbour at Home
We don't see our roles as a job, but as a career that can bring a purpose in life through the work that we do. We pride ourselves on our organisational values which support our staff to be the best they can be. We are one of the only services in the area to facilitate a monthly, fully paid 2-hour staff meeting which provides an opportunity for connection, support, and training. We provide access to mandatory competencies such as CPR training and manual handling training every year at no cost to the employee.
Location
We are looking for domestic support North of Coffs Harbour (Sandy Beach, Arrawarra, Woolgoolga, Grafton, Emerald Beach) and South of Coffs Harbour (Toormina, Bonville, Sawtell, Nambucca Heads, Bowraville, Scotts Head, Stuarts Point).
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
- Making beds and changing bed linen
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Hanging, folding and ironing washing
- Dusting
You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organised and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
