Senior MuleSoft Technical Architect

Overview

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join our team to help propel government customers' digital transformation journeys with human-centered design thinking and consultation.

What You Will Be Doing

Unlock what's possible. You will help drive the architecture for integration initiatives, aligning strategy, standards, and platforms to business needs, and providing hands-on delivery guidance.

What Will Keep You Busy

• Evolve and shape the strategy, architecture, platform, and standards for the Integration team.
• Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the integration domain.
• Lead and mentor the integration team through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance.
• Specify and publish standards around APIs and Integrations.
• Own integration architecture to solve business problems and generate maximum value for stakeholders.
• Transform business requirements into scalable solution architecture and design specifications.
• Partner with other IT and business functions to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions.
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support API and integration projects.
• Ensure the team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards.
• Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.
• Support continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances.
• Maintain transparent communication via department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email communication.
• Understand business processes, pain points, needs, and customer experience to design MuleSoft-based technical solutions.
• Achieve appropriate technical certifications on MuleSoft and Confluent and apply their capabilities to business problems.

The Skills You Will Bring

• Minimum 5 years working in the MuleSoft and Confluent ecosystem as an Integration Architect with experience transforming complex business requirements into workable solutions
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• MuleSoft, Confluent and relevant certifications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Leadership
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development
• Experience with the API development lifecycle from design to governance and management
• Experience with event brokers platforms like Kafka and Solace
• Experience integrating with SaaS solutions like Salesforce, Splunk and Azure
• Experience with XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and data modelling
