As a Lecturer in Speech Pathology, the incumbent will deliver high-quality teaching across Speech Pathology topics, with a focus on placement education. The Lecturer will help design and deliver curricula, including short courses appealing to current and future students. To ensure teaching aligns with evolving healthcare practice, you will remain clinically active as a Speech Pathologist. This dual engagement will support partnerships with external stakeholders, enhancing teaching, learning, and research.

Please note, the role requires teaching at one of our rural Bachelor of Allied Health locations—Mt Gambier, Renmark, or Port Pirie—and collaborating with teams at these sites and the Bedford Park campus.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A doctorate in a relevant field or equivalent clinical experience and professional standing.
  • Current, unconditional registration as a speech pathologist.
  • Contemporary clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in tertiary-level teaching, including clinical or simulated settings.
  • A sound understanding of pedagogical theory and modern education practices in speech pathology.
