What your days might look like
As the Manager of Channel Growth, you'll play a key role in driving the success of our entire Partner Channel here in ANZ, ensuring we capitalise on every opportunity to connect with potential partners and drive new referral business.
You will be reporting into the Head of Partnerships ANZ. Your team will be based in Australia and New Zealand. You will empower them to deliver exceptional results, maximise new partner sign ups, and ensure new partners are active with consistent referral volume. Importantly, you will provide a world-class experience for new partners engaging with our brand.
As a Manager of Channel Growth, you'll be:
Leadership and Performance:
- Lead and inspire a growing team of Sales Development Representatives who work very closely with the Partnerships Account Executives, whose shared mission is to achieve and exceed referral volume targets. Currently 5 in the team which will grow.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the partnerships team. This includes processes and tech stack.
- Ensure closed won revenue from partnerships activity is meeting set out targets.
- You will assume all management duties of the growing SDR Function and have strategic input in how our AEs operate. You will conduct regular 1:1's, team reporting, coaching and development.
- Develop a strong outbound partner acquisition strategy, this includes but is not limited to creating new email templates, defining cadence structures, call scripts and other initiatives to turbo charge our outbound motions.
- Understand our "Ideal Partner Profile" (IPP) and create lead lists to ensure we are targeting the right businesses.
- Work closely with marketing to suggest content ideas, events, collateral requirements and anything else that will be important to fuelling activity from the SDR team.
- Create a Partnership SDR scorecard which defines key activity metrics in the role of which you will then hold each team member accountable for.
- Conduct regular call coaching sessions and provide constructive feedback to nurture the professional development of each team member.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the partnerships team.
- Optimise our inbound function to ensure we are converting inbound partner requests at a high rate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SDR activities with overall sales operations.
- Implement effective reporting mechanisms and dashboards to track and analyse key performance metrics.
- Utilise data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for strategic adjustments.
- Create and sustain a high-performing remote-first team by fostering a strong sense of connection and collaboration, regardless of physical location.
- Leverage remote-friendly tools and technologies to maintain clear communication, drive engagement, and ensure alignment with team goals.
- Adapt coaching, development, and team-building strategies to suit a distributed workforce, ensuring every team member feels supported and valued.
- Build a culture of accountability and trust in a remote-first environment, enabling the team to thrive and perform at their best.
Experience:
- Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing SDR and/or AE teams in a fast-paced B2B environment.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective team leadership and strategy implementation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to interpret performance data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to changing market dynamics, ensuring our lead generation strategies remain cutting-edge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate the team's achievements and challenges.
