The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough, and Lane, and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This iconic project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Purpose of the Role:

The Planning and Monitoring Coordinator supports project teams to deliver projects on schedule by developing project plans and schedules, facilitating their implementation, monitoring progress, and reporting on project status.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related tertiary qualification in infrastructure project development.
  • White Card.
Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the construction industry in a similar role.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects is preferred.
Required Competencies:
  • Basic knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • High proficiency in Oracle P6 software.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Well-developed time management skills.
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor detailed programmes in P6 and other software.
  • Ensure accurate and timely uploading of work progress at site in FGJV systems.
  • Develop and update internal and contractual programmes in P6.
  • Compile and analyze 6-week and 90-day look-ahead schedules.
  • Prepare weekly dashboards and forecasts, including what-if scenarios.
  • Participate in LEAN planning and develop time impact/delay analyses.
  • Support reporting by updating relevant documents and developing progress reports.
  • Interface schedule with project budget.
  • Coordinate planning, follow-up, monitoring, and reporting activities.
  • Adhere to FGJV values, vision, and mission.
  • Provide proactive advice to support project success.
  • Comply with FGJV policies and procedures.
