What You'll Need to do

  • Provide timely and accurate advice, coaching and support on all HSW matters including legislation, policies, procedures and best practices
  • Facilitate and support identification, assessment and control of risks
  • Conduct inspections and audits to monitor compliance
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of organisations HSW Management System in alignment with ISO 45001
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions such as inductions, manual handling, risk assessments etc

Specific Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of relevant WHS/OHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards, E.G ISO 45001
  • Experience in HSW incident investigation techniques (e.g. ICAM or similar)
  • Proficient in delivering training and presentations
  • Formal Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. Diploma or Bachelors degree in OHS/WHS)
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in operations HSW advisory or Business Partnering role
  • Office attendance required in Melbourne CBD office and Southeast Melbourne Office (26kms Southeast Melbourne)
  • Lead auditor qualification is ISO 45001
  • Return to Work Coordinator certification/experience
