Band 6 - starting at $94,850.87 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

We are seeking a safety professional to join our well-established Health, Safety & Wellbeing Unit in the People & Culture Branch. This is an ideal opportunity for a safety professional with 1–3 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. To support your success, the role includes on-the-job learning, leadership development opportunities, and clear pathways for internal progression.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field such as Risk Management, along with some relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates with less formal qualifications but substantial relevant experience in the field will also be considered. Previous experience as an OHS professional—or in a comparable specialist role—is essential, along with a broad range of practical, on-the-job experience. A demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, implement effective OHS management systems, and manage areas such as injury management and WorkCover claims is also required.
