Overview

This facility is looking to fill a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role. They are hiring fast

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality health care and treatment to patients. Health care includes: health promotions; prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient's primary care provider.
  • Practice medicine within the scope of their licensure and, if applicable, under the supervision of a KVHC Physician.
Qualifications

Requirements (NP)

  • Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred
  • Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing
  • Current Maine State Licensure
  • Current CPR and ACLS

Requirements (PA)

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant's program
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Current Maine State Licensure
  • Current CPR and ACLS
Licenses / Certifications
  • Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
