Job Description

The Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday HCM implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Become a Workday Recruiting and Talent product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Leverage expertise to recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe; with flexibility to adapt scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Guide customers through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and understanding of their unique business requirements.
  • Support clients through all project phases, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday HCM.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients, project teams, and Engagement Manager updated on progress or changes.
  • Work with the integration team to configure and test integrations between Workday and client's payroll and benefits providers.
  • Take leadership on projects or as a Collaborative or Workday Product Partner Lead and/or DA Reviewer.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise with the software, including loading customer data, moving configurations between tenants, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Use technical skills to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via loads.

Skills & Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HR Management, HRIS, or related field.
  • Certification in Workday HCM, Recruiting, or Talent.
  • 2+ years of Workday implementation experience (highly desired).
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software experience.
  • 2-5 years of implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software (highly desired).
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing solutions under deadlines.
  • Functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial Management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to manage customer expectations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
