Role

You'll join as a Terrestrial Ecologist at Senior or Principal level, serving as a technical expert and offering guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Your knowledge of threatened species and ecological communities in the region will enable you to lead high-quality assessments and contribute to innovative environmental management solutions. You will be responsible for developing methodologies and protocols, planning and leading field surveys, and ensuring technical excellence in project delivery. This role combines ecology, environmental management, legislative knowledge, and leadership skills to create high-quality work and great outcomes for our clients and the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead field surveys and contribute to high-quality assessments.
  • Develop methodologies and protocols for ecological projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Ensure technical excellence in project delivery.
  • Apply knowledge of legislation and regional ecological context to project work.
