Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/11/2026.

Position Profile: The Pharmacist, as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributes to optimum patient care by undertaking duties as a Pharmacist including dispensing, patient counselling, manufacturing, providing drug information and supervision of support staff. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. Practices as a Pharmacist as per the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and EMHS policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a specialist hospital located 11km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of mental health care, aged care services, obstetrics, and rehabilitation.

• Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy and eligible for registration by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated competence in current drug use and relevant legislative knowledge and its application in providing optimal patient care and professional practice.
• Demonstrated ability in applying time management and organisational skills when providing Pharmacy services.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
