Working within Queensland Rail's MPI team, the Manager Commercial & Contracts will manage the contractual and commercial items relating to projects within Major Projects Integration. Purpose that Counts - Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including DTMR, Delivery Authorities and internal departments
• Lead negotiations and successful navigation of governance obligations
• Prepare detailed analysis and advice on current best practice to support strategic decision making
• Develop in conjunction with operations and assurance teams asset handover requirements and maintenance agreements

• Good knowledge of governing legislation, regulatory, commercial and contractual requirements in a government environment
• High level of skill in negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of government and commercial arrangements
• Sound level of strategic, conceptual, analytical, collaborative and influencing skills
• Extensive knowledge interpreting, managing and translating evolving commercial requirements in a contractually diverse environment
