The Role

The Payments Administrator is responsible for processing and reconciling domestic and international payments. This role plays a key part in day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in all transaction activities. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset and strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process domestic and international payments, including direct debits, BPAY, and third-party transfers
  • Perform transaction allocations, update narrations, and manage rejections
  • Conduct daily reconciliations between internal systems and external bank records
  • Maintain accurate records to support audit and regulatory requirements
  • Prioritise and manage workflow to meet deadlines
  • Assist in process improvement and documentation
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external vendor
  • Support daily operations and contribute to a positive team culture
Desired Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
  • Reconciliation and payment processing experience is essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in finance, fund admin or similar
  • Basic Excel skills (e.g. filtering, formulas)
  • Eager to learn, proactive and reliable
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Team-oriented with a focus on quality and service
