About the role:

Role responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, compression stockings, medication prompting, etc.
  • Support clients in the community with social activities, transport to appointments, and outings.
  • Provide personal care with dignity and respect, including showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help clients live independently by assisting with meals, cleaning, and companionship.
What we are looking for:
  • Nursing students are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with manual handling and hoisting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with behaviors and PBSP is highly desirable.
  • A passionate, caring, and empathetic personality is a MUST.
  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent is a MUST.
  • Experience in disability or aged care is a MUST.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.
  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
  • Experience with PEG feeding is highly desirable.
  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
  • Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
