The Role

Cater Care seeks to appoint multiple Part-Time Catering Assistants at one of our key aged care residences in Eight Mile Plains, just a 15-minute drive from Brisbane.

Roster and Shifts
  • Shifts available throughout the week.
  • Shift times: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm or 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

What This Role Involves
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service – serving residents meals and snacks
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills And Experience
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
