Overview

VET Casual Teacher - Apprentice LNSupport – Casual opportunity at Swinburne University of Technology (Croydon and Wantirna campuses).


Responsibilities
  • Engage and motivate students through contemporary teaching practices
  • Enhance student retention and completion rates by customising LNSUPPORT strategies
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated educators to develop high-quality, applied learning programs
  • Champion best practices in teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners

About You
  • Implementation of high-quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
  • Fostering and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.
  • Participation in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.
  • Awareness and understanding of Vocational Education and Training policies and frameworks.

Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including units such as TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A; TAELLN units
  • TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools (or its successor) and related units (TAEASS502A, TAEASS502B)
  • Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
  • TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set (or successor TAESS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set)
  • Higher level education qualification (e.g., TAE80113 Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice or equivalent, or Bachelor of Education / Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education)
