As a Property Operations Technician (Painter), you will be responsible for maintaining all painted surfaces, fittings, and furniture across the property, along with preparing cost estimates for minor in-house projects. From applying paint and finishes to maintaining and repairing existing structures, your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our world-class property.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Please note, this is a 12-month maximum-term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed interior and exterior painting, including touch-ups and refinishing of furniture and fixtures
  • Perform colour matching, refinishing, and repairing furniture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and deliver on-time project completion
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed, adhering to strict quality and safety protocols
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, offering insights and suggestions to enhance processes and quality
What we're looking for
  • Certificate III in Painting (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of building processes and WPH&S including preventative maintenance
  • Ability to identify hazards and risks and provide appropriate control measures
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:06pm
