Business Manager Trainee

Ready to launch your automotive finance career? Our client is a major automotive group and is looking for a Trainee Business Manager to join their dealership in Melbourne's east. This is an exciting, structured pathway into one of the industry's most rewarding roles.
In this role, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training across finance, insurance, and compliance processes. You'll shadow experienced Business Managers, assist with customer transactions, and progressively build the skills needed to step into a leadership role.
What you'll do :
- Support day-to-day F&I operations while you train
- Assist with finance product presentations and customer service
- Learn deal structuring and compliance protocols
- Rotate between locations as needed to support learning and coverage
What we're looking for :
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds – former tradespeople, self-starters, customer service specialists, or automotive sales pros who are motivated to grow.

The package :
- 60,000 – $70,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- Commissions on top
- Real potential to move into a full Business Manager role within 3–6 months
