Overview

AHP Healthcare is proud to partner exclusively with a highly respected aged care facility in Riverton, SA to appoint a dedicated and experienced Director of Care. This is a full-time leadership opportunity to oversee a broad portfolio including residential aged care, independent living units, and home care services.

As Director of Care, you will lead day-to-day clinical and operational functions, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and a positive, resident-focused culture. Role Summary:

  • Attractive salary up to $145,000, plus superannuation and full salary packaging
  • $16,500 Australian Government relocation incentive (subject to eligibility)

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership across multiple care streams
  • Ensure effective compliance with aged care quality standards and AN-ACC funding
  • Mentor and support a strong clinical and care team to deliver best-practice outcomes
  • Maintain resident satisfaction, workforce engagement, and third-party accountability
What You'll Need
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience within aged care
  • In-depth knowledge of AN-ACC with strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with the Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care models
  • Valid NDIS Worker Check, Worker Orientation Module, and COVID/Flu vaccinations
