About the Role

Step into a pivotal finance leadership role within a growing, forward-thinking contracting business. ONN1 Service is a specialist provider of electrical and plumbing services, and we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can lead our finance function and drive strategy, performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the finance function to deliver accurate and timely month-end close, financial reporting and performance analysis.

· Oversee Accounts Payables, Accounts receivables, Cashflow forecasting and debtor management.

· Manage the annual budget and rolling forecast process aligned to business strategy.

· Review and challenge project financial summaries, cost-to-complete forecasts and reconciliations.

· Maintain oversight of payroll approvals, controls and reporting accuracy.

· Drive system and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

· Ensure compliance with all tax, audit and statutory obligations.

· Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering capability and collaboration across the business.

About You

Senior finance leadership experience (ideally in construction, services or related industries).

Strong technical understanding of accounting standards, compliance and reporting.

Proven track record in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Experience overseeing payroll, audit coordination and tax compliance.

Exceptional leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Preferably confident in simPRO and Xero, with advanced MS Suite capability.
