Prophix is on an exciting growth journey across Australia, and we're looking for a Solution Consultant who's passionate about helping companies harness their data, optimise their performance, and embrace the future of finance and analytics. You'll partner with sales, alliance, and marketing teams to help prospects and customers see what's possible with Prophix, lead conversations, craft tailored demos, and bring a consultative lens to business challenges across financial performance, analytics, and emerging technologies like KNIME and GenAI. Your core focus will be driving success in the APAC region.

• Be the go-to expert on Prophix's Financial Performance Management and Advanced Analytics (KNIME) solutions, supporting our alliances, marketing, and sales teams.
• Bring a consulting mindset to every interaction—sharing best practice advice and helping organisations understand how Prophix's platform, services, and partner ecosystem can support their goals.
• Work closely with resellers and implementation partners, giving them the tools and know-how to deliver compelling demos and manage the sales cycle confidently and independently.
• Lead conversations around CPM, financial consolidations, ETL, data visualisation, GenAI, machine learning, and cloud architecture, helping customers make sense of it all.
• Build and deliver engaging demos, proof of concepts, and scripts that are tailored and scalable across different teams and markets.
• Translate customer needs into action by clearly communicating both technical and business requirements to our Professional Services team, ensuring a smooth and positive handover post-sale.
• Be the voice of the customer internally—sharing insights with Product, R&D, and Marketing to help shape the future of our platform.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a consulting, implementation, business/systems analysis, pre-sales, or financial systems role.
• A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Hands-on experience building reusable solutions—whether in Excel, ETL pipelines, automation scripts, or similar.
• Good grasp of advanced analytics and financial processes like planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and group reporting—via practical experience or academic grounding.
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate its value into business impact.
• Confidence presenting to technical and non-technical audiences and adapting your approach as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading conversations, facilitating workshops, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
• Full working rights in Australia, and the ability to travel internationally from time to time (including to North America).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CPM, EPM, BI, DWH, or Advanced Analytics tools or platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, MDX, and ETL tools/processes.
• Understanding of relational (RDBMS/OLTP) and multi-dimensional (OLAP) databases.
• Exposure to cloud-based SaaS platforms and broader enterprise architecture.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Curiosity and love for learning—enjoy digging into new problems and finding smart solutions.
