The Employment team

The premier Melbourne Employment team collectively provides the full range of workplace relations and employment law services and advise some of Australia's leading corporations and businesses.

The team covers general employment law, compliance and regulatory matters, corporate related matters, discrimination, WHS, modern slavery, industrial relations advice and a variety of litigious employment matters.

Owing to growth and a healthy pipeline of work, the Melbourne team is looking to recruit a talented Junior Lawyer or Graduate Lawyer.

The role will see you handling a broad array of employment matters including but not limited to:

• the preparation of contracts and policies
• restructuring advice and representation in disputes (dismissals, discrimination, post-employment restraints and confidentiality)
• supply chain transparency, with a particular focus on labour law compliance and modern slavery in local and global supply chains
• the development of industrial relations strategies and the making of enterprise agreements
• representation in disputes, and
• advising on work health and safety issues.

Requirements

To be successful for this role you must have 0.5 -1.5 years' PAE gained ideally from another reputable practice or suitable in-house space, covering a broad range of Employment matters (though, the firm is keen to consider stellar candidates who may have less experience than that quoted above).
