Base pay range

A$60,000.00/yr - A$82,667.63/yr

1Medical is a leading specialist medical recruitment company that provides doctors to hospitals and clinics across Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

Due to continued growth, 1Medical are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our team.

You will be an integral part of the team and help with the complicated financial support mechanism and that is required to ensure our Doctors are paid accurately and on time.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This role will be primarily responsible for processing Doctors timesheets and travel expense claims accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process Dr timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Validate timesheet data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process Dr travel and expense claims in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile expense submissions with receipts and travel logs.
  • Liaise with employees and managers to resolve timesheet and expense discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of all timesheets and claims to meet payroll and reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of timesheets, expense reports, and related documentation.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and audits by providing relevant information and support.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the efficiency of timesheet and expense processes.
  • Support general finance and administrative tasks as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative, payroll, or accounts support role.
  • Familiarity with timesheet and expense management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
