At Macbild, we are a family-owned business with a passion for delivering exceptional results in construction based in Heidelberg West. Specialising in high-end residential and NDIS builds in Victoria, we have also expanded our expertise to the Gold Coast, where we complete multi-residential projects with precision and care.
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will work closely with another Senior CA to deliver exceptional results across multiple construction projects. In this senior role, you will bring your in-depth knowledge of contract law, proven track record in contract administration, and ability to anticipate and resolve challenges before they arise.
You will oversee the full pre-construction and construction contract journey, and you will be a driving force in maintaining smooth project delivery, accurate scheduling, and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction contracts, subcontracts, and related commercial documents.
Monitor contract compliance and performance, identifying risks and implementing timely solutions.
Provide senior-level advice and guidance to project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
Maintain comprehensive and organised contract documentation and records.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and legal counsel, to ensure effective contract management.
Support tender preparation, bid submissions, and contract variations.
Assist in take-offs, procurement, and commercial forecasting.
Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and performance outcomes.
About You:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry, preferably at a senior level.
Strong, practical knowledge of construction contract law.
Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, and administration skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a senior team environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-focused approach.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence outcomes.
Proficiency with contract management software and related systems.
