Job Description:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
  • Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance industry with a focus on Policy Administration System.
  • Working experience on any of the COTS products like Duck Creek, Guidewire, Point IN, Oneshield, Origami risk, Majesco system, DXC system, Ebaotech system etc.
  • Hands on experience with LOB's like General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Inline Marine, Auto, Homeowners etc.
  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting processes, claims management, rating and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, ACII) or COTS certifications are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to Policy Administration System (PAS).
  • Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the P&C industry.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, and operations, to ensure that solutions meet business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, processes, and tools to support PAS implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise to internal teams and clients.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments to proactively enhance business solutions.
