The Opportunity

Great Beginnings Atherton is looking for an experienced Cook to join the team to produce high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 94 children each day.

This role is part-time, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8/8.30am to 2.30/3.00pm.

About You

  • Experienced in menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
  • Experienced in dietary and allergy-safe requirements
  • Experienced in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available for set shifts Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants Must Hold

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification with relevant experience
  • A current Working with Children's Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance and First Aid certification
  • Willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • A commitment to bringing learning to life and inspiring children to reach their full potential
