The Fresh Collective is looking for a highly experienced Bartender with Barista skills to join a close-knit team at The Lounge, located onsite at UNSW Kensington. Working with the team the Barista and Bartender will be highly skilled, highly motivated and have exceptional customer service skills.

The Role

  • Make coffee and tea to a high quality and appearance
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bar's wine list, cocktail menu and food menu
  • Make and serve wine, beers, cocktails, coffees and mixed spirits for the guests
  • Conduct a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Ensure standards of excellence are achieved regarding customer service, staff presentation and grooming
  • Set up and cleaning of the bar
  • Monday to Friday (Day and Night Shifts)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year experience in bartending, coming from well-established and fast-paced venues
  • Be a competent Barista with latte art skills
  • Passion and an extensive knowledge of the food and beverage offering
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and classic cocktails
  • Possess an eye for detail and a focus on customer experience
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Hold a valid RSA
  • Must hold full Australian working rights and be available to work a minimum of 12 months
  • Be available to start ASAP
