Job OverviewWe are on the hunt for a Data Migration Specialist to join our growing implementation team at Protecht.

This role plays a key part in helping our customers get set up for success by ensuring their data is migrated accurately, securely and in a way that aligns with their business process. You will be assisting our customers with the migration process from scoping, configuration to mapping, validation and import. If you love working with data, enjoy solving mapping puzzles, and have a passion for delivering smooth, high-quality customer experiences, this role would be the perfect fit

Here are some of your key responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end migration process for your nominated customers;
  • Conduct complex data mapping involving multiple data types, structures and use cases across a large customer base.
  • Collaborate with implementation consultants, ERM advisors and customer stakeholders to confirm migration requirements, business rules and field mapping logic.
  • Clean, transform and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness and alignment with the target configuration.
  • Develop and manage reusable templates and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency across migrations.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues, perform data quality checks, and resolve discrepancies prior to go-live.
  • Maintain clear records of data mapping specifications and contribute to internal process improvements for migration projects.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
  • Experience in data migration, ETL, or system implementation roles, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formulas, and data cleansing techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets across different industries and client needs.
  • Strong analytical mindset and a love for solving data puzzles with precision and care.
  • Ability to document and communicate technical mapping decisions in a way that's clear to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset - you're comfortable juggling multiple projects and clients at once.
  • Exposure to SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), or GRC systems is a plus, but not essential.
