The Role

An ICT System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining an organisation's technology systems, including servers, networks, and security systems. They ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of these systems by monitoring and troubleshooting issues. Responsibilities include installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, implementing security policies, and ensuring data backup and recovery. Strong technical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

About our Team

The Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Unit (JEWOSU) is the Air Force's EW centre of excellence, providing EW and Airborne Countermeasures products to support ADF platforms. The IT Support Section maintains Secret level networks to enable EW Libraries production, working with network management and security controls to ensure high ICT security and cyber resilience.
